I am currently a freelance Technical and Production Manager. Before becoming freelance, I was the Technical Manager for the Battersea Arts Centre. During my time at the BAC I was the production and technical manager for all commercial and community events that’s take place at the BAC which has had a huge range events including BBC Proms Launch 2019, Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2020/2021 and ‘The Way Out’ a collaboration between the BAC and BBC Arts which aired on the BBC in May 2020. Before taking on events I was the technical lead for the re-opening of the Grand Hall in summer 2018 which sadly burnt down in 2015. This included working with the team finishing off all the snagging and. After this I led on the Phoenix Season in the Grand Hall which had performances from National Theatre of Scotland, Briony Kimmings, Daniel Kitson and Geeko to name a few. Before taking the role at the BAC, I worked as touring chief electrician in which he had the pleasure on working on international tours for Imperial Ice Stars and UK tours of Our House, Avenue Q and many more. I found out about the PMF after Pip Robinson asked the BAC team to attend the forum ‘DDA – Beyond Compliance: It’s not just about wheelchairs’ March 2019 at the ENO which I was also asked to be on the panel for the second half. Ever since then I have been an active member in PMF attending socials, forums and the AGM. I became Resource Associate in January 2020 working alongside Mandy and the rest of the team.
